I am speaking to the Kentucky Justice Association on Friday about blogging and how it can be used to market a professional service firm. In addition to that, I will be speaking on using a virtual office. There seems to be more and more interest in using the tools available. And I am seeing an increase coming from professional service firms such as attorneys wanting to use a home office.

More and more are seeing the advantages such a lifestyle change could have on their work-life balance. I for one don’t see this as a fad. There is a bright future for working from a home office. I look forward to doing more speaking about it around the country.

As for blogging and the professional service firm. Such marketing is here to stay. And for those professionals not willing to use a blog to market their firm, they will be left behind. Blogging is a perfect way to position oneself as the go to place for information in your niche market. Professionals, such as lawyers and CPA’s need to understand that the consumer is looking for information on the Internet at a huge rate. It is estimated that 75% of those looking for a service provider go to the Internet before they go to their local Yellow Pages.
